The Mission supported the SBI in developing a new Communication Strategy

The State Bureau of Investigation, in close cooperation with the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) Ukraine, has developed and presented the Bureau’s Communication Strategy.
The document defines the key principles and directions for the development of the SBI’s communication policy. The strategy provides for strengthening openness and accountability, the use of modern digital tools to inform the public, and the establishment of systematic interaction with the media and civil society organisations. It also sets modern standards for internal and external communications, which will help increase trust in the institution and strengthen its authority.
The strategy identifies target audiences, key messages, and mechanisms for rapid response to crisis situations. It emphasises enhancing the international dimension of communications, developing internal communication within the organisation, as well as introducing modern formats of working with information — from social media to specialised educational projects.
The implementation of the strategy is of great importance for the Bureau, as it allows communication to become more transparent, clear, and consistent. This will strengthen public trust in the SBI’s work and increase the effectiveness of its activities.

The SBI will continue to remain open to society, adhering to the principles of transparency and integrity, while consistently strengthening its communication capacity as a modern European-standard law enforcement agency.
