12 hours of a duty instead of 24. The joint project of the EU Advisory Mission and Lviv Regional Police provided policemen with more time for their families.

July 24, 2015

The duty time of the Sambir response teams was halved. Due to the joint EU Advisory Mission and Lviv Regional Police project on introducing the new forms and methods of work at the Sambir Police Station, the police officers now have more free time for their families.

In the framework of the joint experiment, which was recognised by the Ministry of Interior Affairs as successful, the quick response teams were created. That allowed for the reorganisation of police tasks, the fivefold improvement in response times and enhanced working schedules.

The joint project of EUAM and Lviv Regional Police implements a system based on the best European practices and the expectations of the citizens rebuilding the trust between police and people.
