EUAM enhanced cooperation with Czech Police

On 4th August Head of the European Union Advisory Mission Kalman Mizsei met with the Czech Police President – General Tomas Tuhy, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Ukraine Ivan Pocuch and the Czech Police Liaison Officer in Ukraine – Lieutenant Colonel Marek Prazak.
During the meeting the parties discussed possible fields of cooperation, specifically in human resources and community policing advice to Ukrainian authorities in the framework of the Czech experience in Police and MoIA reform and transformation process.
General Tuhy expressed full support from the Czech Republic Police to the Ukrainian reform process. He arrived to Ukraine on official visit to open the new office of the Czech Police Attaché in Kyiv in support of the reform advice efforts.
