The EU has deployed 10 civilian missions around the world, including Ukraine, to support rule of law and civilian security sector reform. During a recent visit to Kyiv and Odesa, the man in charge of these missions, Kenneth Deane, explained his role and encouraged Ukrainians to make the reform process a success.

EUAM staff tidy up Kyiv park to mark Earth Day

EUAM staff members and their families tidied up Khreshchatyi Park, next to the Mission headquarters in Kyiv, as a contribution to a greener planet, last Sunday, 22 April, which was Earth Day. Led by the Head of Mission Kestutis Lancinskas and the Deputy Head of the EUAM Fredrik Wesslau, international and local staff collected around 50 large bags with litter which were handed over to the local refuse collection company for disposal.
